My daughter is 7 months old and I am a full time elementary teacher. She spends most of the day at daycare so when we come home we’re both tired, but we needed to practice her skills! I was feeling stressed because she was falling behind on her gross motor milestones but I had no idea how to help her! As a teacher I needed step by step directions and a scope and sequence for success. Found this book through tiktok and it’s been great! Easy to navigate and use and I feel like the tasks are well scaffolded and attainable for my daughter and I to try together. Thank you!
This manual is so easy to follow and is filled with photos and descriptive text. If you’re a parent or caregiver of an infant as well as anyone working with infants, you need this book! Helping your baby move in a purposeful manner will set them up for future success. This book is a must-have and shows you how to do just that!
Got this book a few weeks ago. absolutely love it! i love how it’s idiot-proof! lol. seriously though, the design and instruction is great. it provides detailed physiological progression to help you help your baby’s development.
The infants we see at Chicago Pediatric Orthotics often need a little help meeting normal, symmetric motor milestones. This book is a great resource that concisely describes exercises that you can do with a baby to help with their motor development. The photos make all activities easy to follow. If you are the parent of a baby with torticollis or low muscle tone - I highly recommend this manual.
